Description
1 1/2" (4 cm.) The egg-shaped pewter thimble holder is marked with the double-headed eagle with crown sceptre and sword in claws being the Imperial coat of arms of the Austrian Empire. The holder unscrews at the center to reveal the silver thimble with extended steel cap. Excellent condition excepting few small dents in holder. Austria,circa 1790.
