Description
7" (18 cm.) Of intricately-woven gilt metal in the shape of
a bird尽 next resting in a bower of twigs that are
decorated with green-enamel metal leaves,the nest enclosing
a fitted opaline glass egg with brass frame which hinges
open to reveal gilt sewing tools in a fitted
ensemble,comprising scissors,thimble,awl and needle case.
Excellent condition. French,circa 1870.
