30" (76 cm.) x 26" framed. The large needlework images
appear to feature the children and pets of the Swire
family,with a young lad in elaborately-worked Scottish
costume seated in the center alongside the family dog; at
the bottom corners is a young child playing with another
dog,and further images include the family home,another
dog,cat on cushion,bird,pheasant,butterflies,chapel,and a
garland of flowers around the outside. Along the bottom
the words ?Hannah Swires Work December 25,1846" are
embroidered. Excellent condition. English,1846.
