6" (15 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso,cobalt blue glass inset eyes,painted lashes and brows,dark eyeliner,accented nostrils,closed mouth with prim lips,blonde mohair wig in hip-length braids,peg-jointing at hips and shoulders,wooden-ball-jointed elbows. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: BTE (torso). Comments: French,circa 1882. Value Points: among the rarest of the mignonette series,a deluxe model with intricate elbow jointing,charming expression,and wearing antique ecru silk costume and woven bonnet.
