Arranged within its original box is a bisque socket head doll with composition ball-jointed body and original costume,along with three additional bisque doll heads designed to be alternately used with the body. Included is a solemn-faced plump-cheeked child with painted brown eyes,and blonde mohair wig over plaster pate; a slender-faced bisque head with painted eyes,blonde mohair wig over plaster pate,and marked 178; a head with painted blue upper-glancing eyes,closed mouth with smiling expression,original brunette mohair wig with side-coiled braids over plaster pate,marked 185; and a head with blue glass eyes,open mouth with four teeth,brunette mohair wig over plaster pate,marked 174. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Kestner,their set of interchangeable doll heads was offered in 1910. Value Points: in pristine unplayed with condition,with superb painting and fine soft original wig,the doll and additional bisque heads are arranged in their original box (partial label intact).
