Bisque socket head,large amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,lushly-painted lashes,rose-blushed eye shadow,thick brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined and glazed lips,pierced ears blonde mohair wig on cork pate,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent,body finish a bit scuffed. Marks: Mascotte 1 (head) Bebe Mascotte Paris (body). Comments: May Freres & Cie,circa 1895. Value Points: dramatic painting of eyes enhances their wonderful large size,lovely bisque,original signed body,lovely antique dress,undergarments,shoes and bonnet.
