Bisque socket head,painted facial features,brown eyes with black and red upper eyeliner,painted nostrils of rounded nose,closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips,blonde mohair wig over plaster pate,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 179. Comments: Kestner,circa 1910. Value Points: the rare painted eye character wears fabulous original bridegroom costume including black velvet vest with embroidered flowers,velvet pants,long red-lined coat with corsage,and black leather shoes marked "Made in Germany".
