Bisque socket head,small brown glass sleep eyes,painted curly lashes,dark eyeliner,short feathered brows,accented nostrils,open mouth,outlined lips,two porcelain upper teeth,tongue,brunette mohair bobbed wig,composition bent limb baby body,nicely costumed in sailor suit and cap,with silver whistle. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K made in Germany 14 247 JDK. Comments: Kestner,the model is known as Baby Jean,circa 1915. Value Points: especially fine quality of sculpting with impressed lip and cheek dimples,beautiful bisque and painting.
