Description
20" (51 cm.) x 15". A wooden-framed diorama has lithographed scene on the front depicting a family excitedly waving at the aircraft that are passing over head. Behind the front is a simple wheel mechanism to which five lithographed-on-board aircraft are attached (three with French flags,one with German flag,and one with US flag) in a spoke-like manner. When wound,music plays,and the planes circle around and around as though in a race. Excellent condition,few paper rubs,mechanism and music function well. French,circa 1900.
