The round paper mache parlor stove with decorative gilt lattice design and ormolu pulls on each side,has a removable lid for access to hollow candy box,and a working "ash" drawer at the bottom for storage of other candies. A delightful and beautifully-detailed early candy container in fine original condition. French,circa 1865.
