14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket had,blue glass sleep eyes,painted lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,mohair curly wig over plaster pate,early composition and wooden body with attached ball-joints and straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 10. Comments: Kestner,circa 1885. Value Points: very fine bisque with luminous complexion,appealing solemn expression,wearing wonderful antique boy's costume including feathered cap.
