Bisque socket head,blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading and darker blue outer rim,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,blonde mohair wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition; generally excellent. Marks: 971 (crown rim). Comments: Alt,Beck and Gottschalk,circa 1885. Value Points: very expressive features on the plump-cheeks girl with fine luminous complexion,fine antique costume comprising embroidered wool dress,ruffled-lace and silk ribbon bonnet,undergarments,shoes and socks.
