5" (13 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso,cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes,painted curly lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,blonde mohair wig with hip-length braids,peg-jointed bisque limbs with bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French,circa 1882,the models were shown in Parisian Etrennes catalogs,advertised as "poupees de poche" (little pocket dolls). Value Points: very dainty doll with delicate painting,original wig,and wearing beautiful original magenta silk costume with lace trim,undergarments,woven bonnet.
