The box has very decorative engraving on the lid centering the words "Jeux pour Demoiselles" (games for young ladies) and opens to an assortment of parlor and yard games suitable for proper young girls,including dominoes and dice games,as well as hoops and shuttlecock. Box lid is a bit worn,contents are near mint. French,circa 1860.
