Description
13" (33 cm.) including ears. Of brown velvet,the standing rabbit has stand-up ears,black shoe-button eyes with red backing,and wears original blue felt jacket with yellow cord edging and matching slippers with leather soles. Excellent condition. Germany,Steiff,with button in ear,1908,Beatrix Potter commissioned the firm to make her storybook rabbit as she could find no suitable manufacturer in England.
