Description
16" (41 cm.) Of wood with ebony painted finish that is decorated in gilt,sienna and green,the cabinet desk has three lower drawers with gilt bronze pulls,and a drop-front desk surface with gilt bronze garland design,and tooled leather writing surface on the interior along with fitted niches. The intricate Chinoiserie decorations extend around the sides of the cabinet,and there is marble at the top. Excellent condition. French,mid-1900s in the 18th century style,from the atelier of a classic French cabinet maker.
