22" (56 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,auburn mohair wig over cork pate,French metal armature body with padded stockinette cover allowing infinite articulation,bisque hands and bisque lower legs and feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 (head,shoulder plate and limbs). Comments: Gaultier,with Gesland-made body from the original depose of Pannier,circa 1875. Value Points: an especially beautiful example of the large poupee with choice bisque and painting,perfect bisque limbs with exquisite sculpting of hands.
