Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,brown side-glancing eyes in side-slant sockets,heavily-modeled eyelids,black curly lashes,black eyeliner,black feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth,black mohair wig with extended queue,jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent,some dustiness,lantern base missing. Comments: Lenci,circa 1930,from their series of Asian characters. Value Points: the rare character,with uniquely painted facial features,amber tinted complexion,is wearing vibrant yellow felt tunic and pants under a black felt vest with signature medallion,has wooden stacked shoes,original woven hat,and lid of original wooden lantern.
