All-wooden lady doll has one-piece head and torso,oval face,elongated throat,sculpted pierced ears,defined carving of chemise top over shapely bosom,high waist,dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees with shapely calves,painted red shoes with black edging,brown painted pate,painted dark brown eyes,fringed lashes and one-stroke curvy brows,closed mouth,wearing early multi-layered cotton and wool costume and undergarments. Condition: very good,some light old retouch. Comments: Grodnertal,circa 1820. Value Points: rare large size of the sought-after early doll with beautiful definition of features,especially in profile,stylized body of the era,and very fine carving of expressively-posed fingers
