Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,large blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with center accent line,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with shapely torso and legs,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2/0 (head) 2/0 F.G. (shoulders). Comments: Gaultier,circa 1875. Value Points: beautiful all-original condition of the the petite poupee in authentic original Parisian costume of Normandy nanny including silk and lace coiffe,turquoise earrings,tacked on leather shoes incised "2",and holding original Sonneberg bisque baby with glass eyes,closed mouth,original muslin and silk gown.
