Solid domed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso,large cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,long painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,blonde waist-length mohair wig,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs,painted white stockings with blue rims and blue two-strap heeled shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9 (head) IIIIV (legs). Comments: for the French market,possibly Kling,circa 1882. Value Points: exquisite sweet facial expression with dramatic large cobalt eyes,original wig,original costume of white pique with handmade rick-rack,undergarments,aqua silk bonnet.
