17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head,large blue glass paperweight inset eyes,dark eyeliner,long painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent,body not original but is appropriately sized and of the same era. Marks: 10. Comments: Sonneberg,mystery maker,circa 1885. Value Points: very pretty wide-eyed child with closed mouth wears nice antique cotton dress with lace trim.
