10" (25 cm.) Paper mache figure depicting the comic strip
character,Foxy Grandpa,with sculpted bulging eyes framed
by spectacles,prominent nose,smiling,remnants of white
mohair wig,with painted blue suit,yellow vest and tie,and
having rounded and weighted base designed to never tip
over. Condition: very good,original finish albeit
scuffs,mohair fringe worn. Comments: Schoenhut,circa 1914.
Value Points: rare toy with exceptional detail of
characterization and vibrant colors.
