eyeliner,long painted
lashes,rose-blushed eye shadow,brush-stroked and feathered
brows,accented nostrils
and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,brunette
human hair hand-tied
wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition:
faint hairline down the back
of head,one finger missing. Marks: 9 (head) Excelsior
(body). Comments: Kestner,circa
1888,the model is known as "A.T. Kestner" for its close
resemblance to the French bebe
by Thuillier which it presumably was emulating. Value
Points: very beautiful model with
lovely complexion and painting,pretty antique costume.
