28" (71 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with flattened
solid dome,elongated face with very full cheeks,brown
glass paperweight inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted
curly lashes,incised eyeliner,brush-stroked and feathered
brows,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with very full outlined
lips,brunette human hair,composition and wooden ball-
jointed body,lovely antique costume. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: S 15 H 949. Comments: Simon and
Halbig,circa 1890. Value Points: very beautiful bisque
with fine luminous patina,and artistically-painted
features.
