Description
10" (25 cm.) -16" Each is paper mache with painted rosy complexion, blue eyes, thick white painted brows, applied white fur beard and hair, red felt cap with flannel edging, attached to hollow carton torso which separates at the waist for use as candy container, paper mache legs and arms, modeled painted black boots, blue pants, red flannel jacket, each holding branch. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1920, the models are referred to as "wood cutter St. Nicholas". Value Points: well-preserved traditional holiday figures.
