Description
22" (56 cm.) overall. Kewpies 1 1/2" -4". Posed under a glass dome, on a spiral staircase are a bounty of twenty German all-bisque action Kewpies in various poses (each is different), including large seated Kewpie with book, seated Kewpie on high ladder-back chair holding a rose, tiny seated Kewpies with thematic objects ranging from a turkey to a pumpkin to a Valentine heart, kneeling or crawling Blunderboos, Kewpie on sled, Kewpie traveller with Doodledog, and more. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, designed by Rose O'Neil, circa 1915. Value Points: wonderful presentation of the rare early Kewpies in delightful poses.
