Description
11" (28 cm.) l. 8"h. The royal coach is designed with
richly-embossed silver framed windows and doors and silver
feather-spoked wheels,and having enameled hand-painted
scenes in the 18th century style that decorate the
sides,roof,complete interior including floor,ceiling,foot
rests and seats,and even the inside storage area of the
driver's seats,the entire underside of the coach has
enamel scenes; in all,there are more than 25 scenes and
each is different. There are ten beveled glass windows,one
hinged door,and decorative silver finials,winged angel
center crest,and two carriage lamps. Excellent condition.
Vienna,Austria,circa 1890,an extraordinary example of this
art work.
