5" (13 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso,heart-shaped
face,painted facial features,side-glancing eyes with white
accents,upper eyeliner and single-stroke brows,closed
mouth with defined space between the broadly smiling
lips,original brunette mohair wig,loop-jointing at
shoulders and hips,modeled bent right elbow and pointing
right index finger,painted thigh-high white
stockings,black one-strap shoes,nice antique costume.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: JIO c. 1920 47
(torso) 47 (arms and legs). Comments: created by the
American designer Jeanne Orsini,and made in Germany under
commission from George Borgfeldt,circa 1920. Value Points:
wonderful bisque and painting.
