Description
5" (13 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso,very narrow
blue glass eyes,painted curly lashes,single stroke
brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with wide smile,loop-
jointed bisque arms and legs,right arm modeled bent at
elbow,painted white stockings and brown one-strap
shoes,nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: J.I.O. c. 1920. Comments: designed by American
artist,Jeanne Orsini,made in Germany,circa 1920. Value
Points: beautiful bisque with fabulous detail of unique
facial model,impressed dimples at lip edges,unique
pointing finger on left hand.
