Description
10" (25 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with slender oval face
and elongated throat,sculpted blonde hair with green
painted snood decorated by sculpted green feather and
purple lustre tassel,painted bright blue eyes with black
eyeliner and tiny painted lashes,one stroke brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth,muslin stitch-jointed body with
(new) porcelain lower limbs,painted blue boots,wearing
antique blue silk gown with lace trim,undergarments.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa
1870. Value Points: amazingly fine detail of
painting,especially of eyes,on the petite model,with rare
hair style and ornamentation.
