Description
16" (41 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with pink-
tinted complexion,intaglio-sculpted blue eyes with large
black pupils and white eye-dots in pronounced eye
sockets,black and red upper eyeliner,short feathered
brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with very full
pouting lips,flocked light brown hair with side-part
shaping,composition and wooden ball-jointed body,nicely
costumed in burgundy linen. Condition: generally
excellent,arms are appropriately sized and of the same era
but not original to body. Marks: Heubach (sunburst)
Germany (and green stamps). Comments: Gebruder
Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: perfectly-preserved
flocked hair in rare style enhances the deep modeling of
the petulant-faced little boy.
