Description
5" (13 cm.) One-piece all-bisque head and torso with
distinctively-shaped face and elongated throat,loop-
jointed bisque arms and legs with pointing finger on right
hand,painted high white stockings and brown one-strap
shoes,having narrow brown glass sleep eyes,painted lashes
and brows,closed mouth with wide beaming smile,painted
teeth,brunette mohair wig. Condition; generally excellent.
Marks: J.I.O. c. 1919 47 (doll) 47 (limbs). Comments:
designed by American artist Jeanne Orsini,made in
Germany,circa 1920. Value Points: very rare all-bisque
miniature with wonderful expression.
