25" (64 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with unusual square-
shaped face,strong throat,black sculpted hair with flat-
center-part crown and tousled curls overall sides and back
of head,large painted blue upper-glancing eyes with red
and black upper eyeliner and pronounced white
eyedots,circle accents at nostrils,closed mouth,kid
stitch-jointed body with porcelain lower arms,nice antique
costume. Condition: generally excellent,few typical flakes
on hair. Comments: Germany,circa 1880. Value Points: rare
facial expression enhanced by well-painted
features,especially eyes.
