20" (51 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque
shoulder plate,brown glass sleep eyes,painted
lashes,brush-stroked brows with feathered detail,accented
nostrils and eye corners,open mouth,outlined lips,four
porcelain teeth,blonde mohair wig over plaster pate,kid
pin-jointed body,bisque lower arms. Condition: generally
excellent,small flake on underside of one finger. Marks: F
made in Germany 11. Comments: Kestner,circa 1890. Value
Points: beautiful doll with original body,wig and pate,and
wearing antique cream woolen knit dress with white fur
collar and mohair cap,stockings,undergarments and boots.
Along with a large doll trunk containing three additional
dresses,woven woolen jacket,two woven bonnets,various
undergarments,lace hooded cape with blue silk ribbons,and
a paper mache/wax candy container egg with wax baby face.
