13" (33 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with very pale
complexion,slender face,elongated throat,black sculpted
hair waved from face with feathering detail,sculpted snood
decorated with blue and white ribbons,and green and purple
plumes,painted blue eyes in defined eye sockets,red and
black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,accented nostrils
and eye corners,closed mouth,firmly stiffed muslin body
and kid arms,lovely antique gown. Condition: restoration
to shoulder plate (only). Comments: Germany,circa 1870.
Value Points: rare model with exquisite facial modeling
and very rare hair ornamentation.
