11" (28 cm.) Pink-tinted thick paste shoulder head of
adult lady with oval face,elongated throat,black painted
hair drawn smoothly around the sides of her face and
captured in a chignon at the back,painted small bue
eyes,black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,strong
sloped nose,closed mouth with up-tilted lip corners,muslin
stitch-joined body,porcelain lower limbs,painted orange
boots,cotton gown and undergarments. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: (illegible lettering and red inked "50"
inside shoulder plate). Comments: Germany,circa 1850.
Value Points: charming expression on the fine quality
early porcelain lady,rare coiffure.
