1915. The dolls had been in the care of Elmeta Davis of
Kansas,on display in her Sunday School classroom, until her
retirement to New Mexico where they passed onto a family
friend in whose care they have remained since. It is
believed that Elmeta Davis was the original owner. Value
Points: two rare Schoenhut models, with wonderful
expressions that capture their about-to-be-married
mood,and having original family costumes.
