10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head with three different faces that are alternately-revealed with the knob at crown is turned,the head enclosed within a carton hood which attaches to torso,composition baby body,antique costume. One face has sculpted closed eye lids of sleeping baby and with closed mouth; another has laughing face with intaglio blue eyes and closed mouth with beaded teeth having broad smile; and the third face with tiny painted squinting eyes,closed mouth in crying expression,and having deeply impressed frowning lines. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: C.B. (torso). Comments: Carl Bergner with three rare Heubach faces,circa 1910. Value Points: rare variation of the Bergner multi-face doll.
