8" (20 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso,sculpted brown
hair in short ringlet curls captured by a blue sculpted
hair ribbon and trimmed with three glazed blue hair
bows,painted brown side-glancing eyes,black upper
eyeliner,white eyedots,short feathered brows,rounded
nose,closed mouth with accented lips,loop-jointed bisque
arms and legs,expressive fingers,sculpted and painted
white bobby socks and brown shoes with bow straps,antique
romper suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 10490
3. Comments: from a series of all-bisque dolls presented
by Gebruder Heubach in 1913,which noted in their
advertising that the sculptor was B. Zitzman. Value
Points: especially beautiful sculpting of face,enhanced by
well-detailed hair and hair bows.
