Description
11" (28 cm.) head circ. The solid-domed bisque head with
flanged neck,tinted baby hair,muslin body and composition
hands,has a different face on front and back,one depicting
a scowling baby with painted blue eyes,sculpted frown
lines,closed mouth with downcast lips; and the other
depicting a cheerful baby with blue glass sleep
eyes,painted curly lashes,tinted brows,open mouth with
beaded upper teeth,tongue. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: Century Doll,J. J Kestner". Comments: Kestner,circa
1920. Value Points: rare model with two beautifully-
sculpted faces and fine quality bisque.
