19" (48 cm.) Composition shoulder head depicting adult man,with brown painted side-parted
hair,painted brown eyes with white eyedots,painted lashes,red and black eyeliner,feathered
brows,accented nostrils,hinged jaw with painted teeth,pull-string at the back of the head which
causes the mouth to open and close,muslin body with stitch-jointing at shoulders and
hips,composition hands with painted white gloves,composition feet with sculpted shoes.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Effanbee,circa 1937,portrait of Charlie McCarthy.
Value Points: near mint condition,the gentleman doll is wearing his original black formal
costume,top hat and monocle.
