Description
8 1/2" (22 cm.) Having carved wooden head with darkened complexion,painted eyes,brows and
lips of closed mouth,sculpted very full moustache,padded armature body,carved wooden lower
arms and legs,painted black boots. Condition: generally excellent,some dustiness of costume.
Comments: probably Austrian or southern Germany,early 1800s. Value Points: excellent detail of
wood carving,the man wears his original costume and turban,mounted on original wooden stand.
