13" (33 cm.) Wax-over-papier-mache shoulder head with rounded facial shape,dark enamel eyes
that open and close with wire lever in torso,painted features,closed mouth,brunette hair in center
slit with ringlet curls,firmly-stuffed muslin body with attached paper hands. Condition: very
good,some rubs on wax. Comments: England,circa 1865. Value Points: with rarer lever eyes and
original slit wig,the doll is wearing her original Christmas Fairy costume of loosely-woven gauze
muslin with ivy berry silk bows,and with silver paper accessories including skirt trim,crown with
pearl beading,and silver star wand.
