29" (74 cm.) Wax-over-papier-mache shoulder head with very plump face,blue enamel glass
eyes,dark eyeliner,arched feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accented
lips,brunette ringlet-curled human hair,muslin stitch-jointed body,wax-over-papier-mache arms
to above the elbows. Condition: good,craquelure around eyes,one thumb reglued,fine dress
fabric is quite frail,original finish throughout. Marks: 8 Sou...(?) 50 (pencil note on torso).
Comments: England,circa 1850. Value Points: pleasing plump face,the doll wears her original
costume including gown,undergarments,leather slippers,straw bonnet,and coral necklace.
