13" (33 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body, wearing pretty antique dress, bonnet, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4. Comments: Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: gentle faced closed mouth child has original body and body finish, beautiful costume, and is carrying little all-bisque baby with sculpted hair.
