Description
4" (10 cm.) Each is un-jointed flat-dimensional with die-cut edging depicting a little girl,with
painted curly hair and facial features,the brown-complexioned doll with added pig-tail tufts.
Each is wearing her original costume,and one is presented in her original box labeled "This is an
original hand-painted doll made on Shreve Island Plantation,Shreveport,La" and with name "Julie-
Ann". Excellent condition. American,circa 1940s,the dolls were sold at various doll stores and
departments including Marshall-Fields of Chicago.
