13" (33 cm.) All-wooden doll with one-piece egg-shaped head and torso with shapely front and
flat back,brown enamel inset eyes,dot-painted lashes and brows,shaped nose,closed mouth with
center thin line,blush spots on cheeks,brunette human hair,cloth arms,wooden legs with jointing
at hips and knees. Condition: very good,original finish with some typical rubs,feet are replaced.
Comments: England,end of 18th century. Value Points: charming facial expression with original
painting,wearing early silk costume and bonnet,and with early mahogany cabinet with dove-
tailed construction.
