9" (23 cm.) Papier-mache shoulder head with black sculpted hair waved smoothly over her ears
and captured in a braided chignon at the back,painted facial features,large dark blue
eyes,painted eyeliner and one-stroke brows,closed mouth with center accent line,slender kid
body with wooden lower limbs,blue paper bands at junction of kid and wood,painted dark blue
flat shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1840. Value Points:
beautifully-preserved original condition,rare coiffure,wearing original multi-layered costume and
bonnet.
