Bisque swivel head with characteristic elongated bulbous throat on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,grey glass enamel inset eyes,painted lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,wooden with dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,hip and knees,swivel waist,original metal hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Adelaide Huret,circa 1870,the beautiful glass-eyed variation of her sought-after art poupee. Value Points: lovely and rare wooden-bodied poupee,wearing fine antique royal blue patterned silk costume with black silk fringe,undergarments,stockings,leather boots,bonnet,earrings.
